Let me start by saying I can’t imagine how anyone gives birth without Wilma! Wilma is incredibly gifted at what she does. She is definitely in the right line of work! Throughout my pregnancy Wilma would always check in and offer encouragement and extra resources for whatever came up! She met with my husband and I multiple times before our delivery and she was so helpful in guiding us towards what we wanted for our birth experience. She is full of knowledge and offers unbiased advice and answers any questions or concerns you might have! When plans suddenly changed for our birth Wilma went above and beyond to make sure we still got the best birth experience possible and we definitely did! She was so incredibly calm and helped me through the hardest parts of labour along with my husband. I can’t imagine having a baby without her there!

Wilma is an absolute treasure! I am forever grateful for her wonderful encourgament and the time she took to listen to me throughout my pregnancy and birth journey. My husband and I hired her for the birth of our fifth baby. She helped to create such a beautiful, peaceful environment to welcome our new baby into; moments my husband and I will always hold dear to our hearts. Through her confidence in me, I gained strength to trust my intuition. I gave birth feeling so special and cared for. Forever grateful for her caring support!

We had Wilma as our doula for the birth of our first baby. She met with us two times in the comfort of our own home before labor started. Wilma got us started thinking about what we wanted our birth to look like, and helped us prepare for it. She gave resources whenever I had a question and checked in throughout my pregnancy, making us feel so cared about!

Even though we had a long labor, Wilma stayed with us throughout, and kept us informed of what was going on. Wilma helped with techniques and positions I would not have thought about all while allowing my husband to be completely involved. Nurses and doctors came and went, so having Wilma in the room with us was such blessing!

Wilma’s help allowed me to love our birth experience. I don’t know what we would’ve done without her! I will happily have her be our doula again for any other babies we have. I cannot say enough amazing things about Wilma and Beauty in Birth! I highly recommend her! Thank you so much, Wilma!!

Wilma was amazing! She was such a warm comfortable presence in the room. She was so helpful beyond words, and does not take the place of your husband! As someone who struggles with anxiety I am so great full we had her with us, my husband loved her just as much as I did! I would hire her again in a heartbeat! I felt like with my birth everything went wrong and not at all what I had imagined. Wilma and my husband together were the perfect team to help me get through it and make the decisions I needed to make even though they were hard! I appreciate everything she’s done for me leading up to birth, during birth, and after! Thank you Wilma!

Wilma was an incredible support to me during my pregnancy (second baby). She was always available by phone/text to answer questions and give me support and encouragement on difficult days. In the last month of my pregnancy, we found out that our baby was breech. Wilma provided me with articles and research to help me become informed on the decision I needed to make, as I was no longer able to have the homebirth I had been preparing for. Making these changes to my birth plan was not easy on me emotionally and Wilma was always there to offer her support. During the delivery of our son, Wilma was very knowledgeable, calming, and never let me feel alone. She did not take the place of my husband, but rather helped show him how to support me. My husband also thought Wilma was excellent; he commented how Wilma is very good at making conversation, explaining what was going on, which made him feel comfortable during the delivery. We are grateful for all the knowledge, positivity, and support that Wilma gave us as we brought our little miracle into this world.

I had Wilma as my birth doula and I wouldn't have it any other way. I stayed calm and collected, didn't have a single panic attack the whole time., and can honestly say this is all thanks to Wilma! She was such a blessing. Me and my baby's dad both don't know how we would have dealt with any of it without her there! She was so supportive through everything and had so many helpful exercises, breathing techniques, calming music and she helped my baby's dad with massages and showed him how to help. She not once made me feel awkward or uncomfortable. She made me feel very important , supported and all her attention was on me. I can promise you, if you are going to have a baby, you will not regret having her by your side!

I absolutely loved having Wilma as my doula! She was so helpful for getting evidenced based answers to help me with the seemingly endless decisions, I needed to make for me and my baby. The first time is when you need a doula the most, as you have no idea what you are doing. My husband loved her as much as I did. She doesn't take the place of a husband.

It was my first pregnancy and it was wonderful but thinking about labor and delivery was overwhelming.
